Components

  • Outer casing made from food-safe and durable polythene
  • A non-toxic brine is used as coolant

Preparation

  • Freezing the plates in the cold store or fast freezing cell
  • The filling must be completely frozen and solidified before use
  • The freezing temperature for this must be at least 5°C below the melting temperature of the eutectic plate
  • To obtain optimum freezing results, an air gap must always be present between the eutectic plates so that the cold air can circulate without impediment
  • It is best to use the GEBHARDT freezing rack for this!

Application

Eutectic plates can be placed in the Isotec insulated container on either support rails or special mesh floors. They release their stored energy during transport, thus enabling longer transport times – depending on the type and number of plates used. We shall be pleased to calculate your individual application!
